Privacy technologies have advanced greatly and become not just academic or of theoretical interest but ready to be applied and increasingly practical. A current challenge is how to integrate technologies such as homomorphic encryption (HME) with others such as Differential Privacy (DP), Secure Multiparty Computation (SMC) within a robust ethical and policy framework in practical application to challenging biomedical use cases. Two to three experts in the field of privacy enhancing technologies give 20 minutes presentations about their work relevant to homomorphic encryption and privacy enhancing technologies with 30 minutes of discussion.
